We are a small Cattery.  My Persians -and Exotics will all come with a purchase Kitten Contract  and desexed- unconditional.

Adoption is 10-14 weeks of age.

Cost Per Kittens : $700- unless other wise stated

Cost Explained

Know matter the cost of your kitten wether it be $200 or $1000 your kitten will always come with a birthcertificate and be fully vaccinated according to its age- included in the price of the kitten.

Some of the costs covered by breeders in the purchase of your kitty Are as follows!

Desexing incl a one night stay at the vets $166 (this is what my vet charges me)

F4 Vaccination $73 I have chosen to give all kittens the F3 or Fel-O-vax4 (F4 vaccine) immunisation against feline enteritis, both common types of cat 'flu and chlamydia. Kittens should be vaccinated at 8weeks which I do then at 12-14 weeks, followed by an annual booster.

Worming $1 each tablet total of $6.00 covers all intestinal worms

De- fleaing $5.50 kittens are done at 2 days old with a liquid flea chemical -which covers them for the first month of life- this prevents flea allergy and hair loss. They are then given a flea tablet at 6 wks of age and another tablet at 10wks this covers them until they are 14weeks old.

Registration of the kitten $10+ and is always given no matter the cost of your kitten

not to mention other expenses eg kitty litter, food, milk, toys, bedding- ect. You want a healthy well socialized kitten.

Lee.

Desexing Explained!

Most us have good intentions about spay/neuter, but the problem is that sometimes females mature earlier than anticipated, and the owner then finds themselves with a pregnant female.

I have chosen to find a vet who will spay as early as possible, for a number of reasons. Once a female cat reaches puberty which can be as early as 4 months (exotic kittens) but more usually at 5 months she becomes a queen, and  (heat) - cycles will start. In domestic cats heat cycles run generally from January through to August, depending on location and climate. In hotter climates they can cycle later than this through the year to November. The male will become sexually active at about 9 months of age.

Until the female mates or is spayed, these cycles will repeat as often as every two or three weeks, During these cycles, the female will be trying to escape the house to mate. She will loudly vocalize (call), for a male causing you and neighbours problems as noisy feline Males cluster around your house and fight for the privilege of impregnating your queen.

What Happens During Estrus?

Estrus is described as the period of receptivity to mating. It is not to be confused with the cycle in human females, and you will rarely, if ever, see any signs of blood, although occasional mucous discharge may be evident.

Ovulation does not take place without mating. If the female cat does not mate during estrus, hormonal levels will eventually drop off, and the estrus cycle will cease, until it repeats itself in another two to three weeks. This will cause undue stress on the owners and the cat if she is not spayed.
